Elementary Report Card Committee

The Redondo Beach Unified School District strives to have clear communication regarding student progress. One way in which we measure and report on student progress is through the RBUSD Elementary Report Card. A good best practice is to periodically review grade reporting procedures to ensure that, as communication tools, they are reporting student progress towards meeting end-of-the-year grade level standards in a format in which parents can easily understand. To this end, RBUSD has convened an Elementary Report Card Committee in the 2023-24 school year to review and revise the format and manner in which we report elementary student progress. During this process, hearing from all stakeholders is crucial, and parents/guardians were given an opportunity to provide feedback via a survey administered October 2-31, 2023.
