Employee Voluntary Benefits
In addition to core benefits, RBUSD provides options for voluntary products for employees working 20+ hours per week. Voluntary products are optional and are employee-paid benefits. RBUSD offers payroll deductions and group rates for these products, making them convenient and offered at lower costs! Our vendors for voluntary benefits are VOYA, Lincoln Financial, and P&A Group.
Voluntary Benefits include the following:
- Life Insurance
- Short-term Disability Insurance
- Critical Illness Insurance
- Accident Insurance
- Section 125 Accounts (Flex Spending & Dependent care)
Voya products include short-term disability, critical illness, accident insurance, and voluntary life insurance.
Life Insurance: All eligible employees may choose to elect additional coverage for themselves, spouse or dependents. Without evidence of insurability (EOI), employees may elect up to $250,000 in coverage.

P&A Group is the district's vendor for section 125, which includes flexible spending accounts (FSA) and dependent care. Funds will be dispersed monthly to employees. The sections 125 plan year is 1/1/2023 through 12/31/2023.
