Thank you for visiting the Human Resources Homepage.

Redondo Beach Unified School District has a current enrollment of over 8,500 students and is a growing K-12 school district. The District is comprised of 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 1 comprehensive high school, and alternative and independent study high schools. RBUSD has an operating budget in excess of $65,000,000.

Unified in 1993, the District has built an outstanding reputation for its programs and grade level options. Active participation by parents, students, and community partners is encouraged.

Redondo Beach is primarily a residential community with a population of 63,261 in an area of 6.35 square miles. Located along the coastal edge of Los Angeles County, just twenty miles from downtown Los Angeles and seven miles south of Los Angeles International Airport, Redondo Beach has been a preferred resort destination for more than a century.

Significant concentrations of employment and retail activity include the northern industrial complex anchored by the Northrop Grumman Corporation campus; the Harbor/Pier area; the Galleria at South Bay area regional mall anchoring the east end of the City; and an eclectic mix of specialty shops, restaurants and services known as the Riviera Village area in the south end of the City.
